Janet Bass

Welcome! My name is Janet, and I have been the Patient Account Representative since 1996. Treatment fees, payment options, insurance benefits and flex spending are some of the things that I help patients with on a daily basis.

This is a great practice to work with and a great place to have orthodontic treatment! Our doctors and staff are highly dedicated and always working hard to make sure that you and your family have a great orthodontic experience.

I live in Millersburg with my husband, Jim. We have two grown children and are the proud grandparents of seven wonderful grandchildren.

Jessi Botkins

I am an orthodontic technician with Central Missouri Orthodontics and have been working for Dr. Taylor since 2005. I enjoy getting to know each of our patients and I like how hands-on our involvement is with the patients. As a team, we are all very close, and we enjoy each other's company, always laughing and having fun together.

My husband, Corey, and I are from Moberly, MO, and we recently bought a house in Columbia. We had our first child, a boy, in late January 2009. In my spare time, I enjoy riding my 4-wheeler, photography, scrap booking and spending time with family and friends.

Rebecca "Becker" Cummings

Hi, I am Rebecca, and I work at the front desk. I have been working here for three years now. I really enjoy working at this practice because of the great group of women who work with me. We always have a good time with each other, and it shows, which I believe helps to make our patients feel more relaxed and excited about their treatments.

I am originally from Harrisburg, and my husband, George, and I now live in Hallsville. We just had our first baby, named Ayla Marie, in May, and she is so beautiful! In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and our daughter. I also enjoy going camping in the great outdoors.

Connie Elliott

Hi there, I'm Connie. I started working with Drs. Harl and Ramlow in 1992, and I have continued working with Dr. Taylor when he bought the practice in 2002. WOW! I just can't believe it's been 17 years! Time sure does fly by when you're having fun!

My first job in dentistry started after I had two root canals and my dentist put me to work. Between general dentistry and orthodontics, I have worked in the dental field for over 25 years (and I don't even feel that old - HA!).

Working in orthodontics is fun because of the involvement with the patients, no matter the age. We have quite an assortment of personalities working here which keeps a lively involvement with our patients and a fun, relaxing atmosphere.

My husband, Bob, and I live on a farm outside of Bunceton, MO. We have five children, some grown and some still at home. There is never a dull moment with five kids and seven grandkids, believe me! It seems as if there is always a birthday party at our house… which means tons of happy smiles, even when I'm not at work!

Denise Hanson

My name is Denise Hanson and I have worked full time in dentistry since 1975. I became a certified dental assistant in 1978, and a certified orthodontic assistant in 1996. Then, in 1999, I completed my expanded functions in orthodontics. I am originally from Chicago, IL, but currently live in Columbia, MO. I have been employed at Dr. Taylor's office since 1987 and I work in the lab as a Lab Technician.

My husband, Brian, and I have three children. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.

Lisa Maasen

Hello, my name's Lisa, and I'm a certified orthodontic assistant. I graduated from Nichols Career Center in 1981 as a certified dental assistant. I started working for Drs. Harl and Ramlow in August 1981 thru 1985. After a brief period of time away from the practice, I returned to their office in 1994 and have been here ever since. Dr. Taylor joined the practice in 2001, and since then Dr. Taylor has added many new and exciting updates to the office, and promises more in the future. There have been many changes in the world of orthodontics since I've started working, which has made having braces more of an exciting "rite of passage" and less of the old fashioned metal mouth or brace face stereotype!

I grew up in a small town 30 minutes south of Jefferson City, MO (where as I remember only one person had braces and most of the people didn't even have teeth). I always enjoyed going to my general dentist when I was growing up. After each six-month checkup, I would receive a toothbrush! Ever since I have been a stickler for great oral hygiene; and I will always promote brushing and flossing, especially while wearing braces!

I truly love my job! And I look forward to working with you!

Jennifer Rawls

Hi, I'm Jennifer! I have worked the front desk of Central Missouri Orthodontics for eight years, and every day has been such a wonderful blessing for me. Our staff is the most caring and fun-loving group you will ever meet. I truly enjoy getting to know all of our wonderful patients, and seeing their happy smiles every time they come to our practice.

I currently live in Columbia with my 15-year-old daughter who keeps me very busy! When I have some spare time, I enjoy calling and catching up with friends and family, reading, and watching good movies.
