Dr. Taylor came to Central Missouri Orthodontics in 2002, where he chose to begin his career as an orthodontist right here in our wonderful community! Before coming to Central Missouri Orthodontics, Dr. Taylor received extensive training, beginning with receiving his bachelor of science degree at the University of Missouri - Columbia in 1994. He went on to receive his doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree in 1999 from the University of Missouri - Kansas City; and in 2001, he completed his master of science degree in Dentistry at Saint Louis University.
Dr. Taylor is a member of several professional dental and orthodontic associations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), the Columbia Dental Society, Central Dental Society, and the Gus Sotiropoulos Study Club. He is an Invisalign certified provider, and in 1999, he was accepted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society.
Having lived in Blue Springs and St. Joseph, MO, and Springfield, IL, Dr. Taylor is proud to call Columbia his home! Dr. Taylor is married, and he and his wife, Corie, have two lovely daughters, Claire and Madison. When he’s away from the practice, Dr. Taylor enjoys playing golf, running, racquetball, reading, cheering for Missouri Tigers sports teams, and he is currently involved in the Downtown Rotary Club; but most of all, Dr. Taylor truly enjoys spending time with his family.
Dr. Taylor enjoys working with all of his patients, and watching as each unique smile he treats progresses throughout the entire orthodontic experience.
